Assistant Daycare Teacher 

We are excited to offer the position of Assistant Teacher at Imprint of Love Daycare and Preschool! This role is a wonderful opportunity for individuals passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a supportive, engaging, and safe environment for children to learn and grow. 

 

We seek a dedicated and enthusiastic person who genuinely loves working with children. The ideal candidate should have a background in early childhood education, experience in a daycare setting, and strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents. A positive attitude, creativity in planning activities, and the ability to work collaboratively with our lead teacher are essential. Additionally, we seek someone patient, flexible, and committed to fostering a fun and educational atmosphere.

Requirements: 

Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. 

​

Must be willing to Register in MERIT (merit.dcyf.wa.gov) and be  Background check cleared before we have an in-person interview.  These are licensing rules. Must have 1 year experience working with children in a home daycare or center or nanny experience with ages 2-5. Plus if you are already in MERIT Registry. 

​

Must be willing to get a TB Test (Paid by employer)

​

Must be willing to to get infant, child, and adult hands-on CPR. (Paid by employer) 

​

Must be willing to work on getting Initial Certificate to be compliant with ECE Requirements. 

​
